New website helps people with cancer connect to others
The site is called I Had Cancer (ihadcancer.com). It is a new, free to use, social network for anyone and everyone touched by cancer – fighters, survivors and supporters. They can share their stories, connect with others and exchange information. It is not a medical site but simply a network that makes it easy to find others in the same shoes. You can search through the community by age, gender, type of cancer, type of user (fighter, etc,) year of diagnosis and location. I Had Cancer fosters community and allows people to connect based on their experiences.
NOTE: The 2012 edition of The Cancer Survivor’s Bible is now available – see www.fightingcancer.com for details.
“I work with cancer patients and I have found this book incredible helpful to them (and to me and my work colleagues).”
