The Illogic of Scientists
A common failing of scientists is that you often find them arguing as follows: This can’t work because the explanation you have made is stupid, therefore it doesn’t work.
I hope you see the flaw in this argument. We see this in operation in the following:
1. Homeopathy cannot work because there is no possibility that a dilute homeopathic solution can contain even one molecule of the active ingredient – therefore it doesn’t work.
2. Simoncini is wrong to argue that cancer is a fungus and therefore his sodium bicarbonate injections cannot work.
There is only one way to find out if something works or not and that is to test it. If it works it works whether or not our explanation for how it works is right or wrong.
