NEUTRON BEAM THERAPY
Neutron beam therapy is the new kid on the block when it comes to external radiation therapy. Careful thought needs to be given to the use of any radiation as it does have the potential to make cancer tumours grow more aggressively. It also has long term impacts – see my books for discussion on these. One argument for neutron beam is that fewer doses are needed and that it should be used in conjunction with PARP inhibitors – see my post at
